Sound of Silence

Somber day here in New York. The London bombing has everyone on the streets pretty quiet. Went for a nice lunch in the Korean district, which took my mind off it all for a while. But now I am back to feeling melancholy, thinking of all those people on the train to work, sipping their morning coffee, thinking about the day to come, oblivious. Now they are gone.

I want to tell you all about tacos at a Mexican stand on Amsterdam, exploring Harlem, hooking up with a friend from my old campus newspaper, and seeing Large Professor spin in a lounge on the lower east side...but it doesn't feel like the time.
