Notes from the road
Got in to Meaford, Ontario late last night after five hours on the plane and four in a rental car, snaking our way along Airport Road with all the other Thanksgiving traffic. Sitting around drinking tea and doing email on my tech-savvy grandfather's computer.
As Martin Turenne pointed out this week in the Straight, Futility Records' web forum is the new place to talk shznit about local hip-hop. Lots of MCs are on there. Particularly dug this discussion thread on the best Van City rapper (all 8 pages of it). And the polls. I've already cast my vote in The Straight's Best Of Vancouver issue (scroll way down). Everyone should really check Smoxz out.
