No more trouble
Aye Carumba! There's loads going on. Listening to Iron African's dope new album III World Animal and trying to get over my post-election depression. Canada, what's up? For real.
Jay-Z responds to the Cam diss in USA Today (link via Jay Smooth) and MTV News. Jay is playing the grown man role, so far. Hopefully nothing serious sparks between him and Cam. (Speaking of peace, I can't wait to hear the Nas/Jay collabo that's surely on the way. But are Jay, Beyonce, Nas, and Kelis gonna go on double dates now?)
Cam airs it all out at a press conference (wearing pajama pants.) And on Hot 97. He also clears up a *really* important issue: flip flops are OK by him--but only with socks, and not with toe-thongs. He says bare feet are wack. U dig?

Just finished reading my fifth book this month. And I've been working on my own book, too! It's going well. Finally. Needless to say, I'm glad.
But I haven't been going out at all. Apparently I am in nerd/recluse mode right now. But, in my own defense, if it ever stopped raining in this swamp, I might actually leave my apartment. Going a little stir crazy, though. I've been in Vancouver for over two months now, and your girl is restless. I know, I know, stop complaining and do something. I'm working on it...
