Rain, rain, go away

Listening to Eminem's "Evil Deeds" and thinking evil thoughts. In a foul mood, I'm afraid to say. Deep in deadline madness. Which would be fine, but the constant rain is really getting me down. It's been a month now of straight storming, and we're setting some crazy records for rainfall up here in Van City. (The weather folks are elated. The rest of us are not. In fact, most of my friends are claiming Seasonal Affective Disorder by now.) Makes me wanna jet to Thailand.

Anyway, if you are in New York check out Saigon at Joe's Pub tonight. One of my friends is going and I tried to convince him to phone me from inside the club so I could hear just a lil bit of Sai's set. My friend wasn't having it. An extremely corny request, apparently.
