The Village Voice's annual Pazz & Jop critic's poll was published today. Kanye West got top album of the year honors, as he should.

Yours truly voted this time around. You can check my ballot here. And, I know, I know, you all hated The Massacre and can't believe I voted for it. Well, I did. So there. But I also came with some fresh under-the-radar selections: Smoxz (Canada), Boca Floja (Mexico), and K'naan (Canada/Somalia). Watch for them.

Also, my review of XXL Raps finally ran in today's newspaper.
